BRICE Roland (1911-1989)
Sculptor-ceramist, former student of Fernand Léger, he became his appointed ceramist at from 1949. In his workshop in Biot, he worked on his own creations where we find the painter's imprint - primary colors, black lines, characters with rounded curves... Brice is also attached to free forms and combines the useful and beautiful through its vases, dishes and plates. He was a fervent supporter of art in the city and of polychromy, a vital dimension for human beings.
