Meynard Robert and Violette, born in 1925 and 1926
Married in 1947, Robert and Violette Meynard left for Morocco, in Safi, the most important pottery center in the country. In 1951, they arrived in Vallauris, and Robert quickly found work there. It was a year later that they moved to avenue du Fournas, with a wood-fired oven and a gas oven. Their pottery, turned, is essentially culinary and decorative. They closed their workshop in 1970.
