Candlestick with 2 branches from the 30s / 40s, attributed to Jacques Adnet, in chromed metal with 3 crystal plates and two luminous bobeches in white opaline. Original electrification, in working order.

Good used condition, with a tiny chip on one of the plates, and a few pits on the chrome.

ADNET Jacques ( 1900-1984 )

Architect and designer, trained to the School of Fine Arts, he works with Jean, his twin brother, under a common signature. The style of its furniture is influenced by the cubism and the functionalism. Their forms are geometrical and of a big elegance. As time goes by, he will use metal and glass. In 1959, he will be promoted director of the National School of the Decorative Arts in Paris.
