Jacques Poussine was born in 1923 in Albi. After his studies, the man went to training as a potter where he became an excellent turner. He then works the red earth and creates his style. From the mid-1950s, Jacques Poussine worked at the Colla de Sant-Vicens, in Perpignan. There he rubbed shoulders with many artists including Pierre Saint-Paul and Jean Lurçat.
