About...Camille Tharaud ( 1878-1956 ) This factory makes porcelain in Limoges since 1817. In 1915, Camille Tharaud finalized high-fire glaze, a still unequalled technique consisting in coloring the enamel in its thickness before the cooking. An exploit which was worth to him the highest distinction in the Exhibition of Decorative arts in 1925. Today, Tharaud always allies its traditional know-how to the most modern techniques. |
