About...

BOCH Frères Kéramis

Founded in 1841 in Louvière, Belgium, by Eugène and Victor Boch, the Kéramis factory is a large classic pottery, the flagship of which is the creation of Delft decorations. The arrival in 1906 of designer Charles Catteau gave it a new lease of life. Present at the International Exhibition of Decorative Arts in 1925 and the Salon d'Automne in Paris, she works for the art workshops of department stores - Primavera, Pomone and la Maitrise - influenced by Japanism, Africanism and avant-garde.
