CAPRON Roger (1922-2006)

Professor at the Applied Arts, Capron primarily interested in drawing. He discovered the work of ceramics at Vallauris (a small village in South of France, very famous for its pottery for centhuries) in 1952 and then moving toward mass production. By 1969, it uses the sandstone. From the 80s, he turned to the unique pieces and sculptures in raku.
