Very attractive pitcher designed by Jean-Claude Malarmey to Vallauris, decoration of oval medallions with geometrical drawings enamelled in brown, green, and grey tones on a light brown background.

Jean-Claude Malarmey ( 1932-1992 )

Trained at the School of Fine Arts of Reims, Jean-Claude Malarmey joins Robert Pérot and Dominique Baudart to Jean Rivier's workshop in Vallauris then to the pottery "Vieux Moulin". He set up his own workshop in 1957 where he creates very refined enamels inspired by oriental ceramic.
