Modernist wall lamp designed by Jacques Adnet, 40's, in chrome-plated metal with two lights. It can be hung on horizontally or vertically. Wiring in working order.
ADNET Jacques ( 1900-1984 )
Architect and designer, trained to the School of Fine Arts, he works with Jean, his twin brother, under a common signature. The style of its furniture is influenced by the cubism and the functionalism. Their forms are geometrical and of a big elegance. As time goes by, he will use metal and glass. In 1959, he will be promoted director of the National School of the Decorative Arts in Paris.
