Earthenware pitcher signed Jacques Innocenti in Vallauris, characteristic decoration of the artist's work of black lines incised on a white enameled background, matte black at the bottom. 1950s.

Jacques Innocenti (1926 - 1958)
He studied at the École nationale supérieure des Art Décoratifs in Paris. At the end of 1949, he began working for his parents, Odette Gourju and Lynba Naumovitch, at the "Grand Chêne" workshop in Vallauris. Then he founded his own pottery in 1952 and worked there until his death in 1958. He also created very beautiful engobe decorations on François Raty's unique pieces for the "Les Argonautes" workshop.
