Roland Brice (1911-1989) and Fernand Léger (1881-1955)
Based in Biot (Alpes Maritimes) from 1951 to 1955, Fernand Léger worked ceramics in the workshop of the sculptor Roland Brice. He begins with utilitarian pieces, vases, plates, with free shapes and primary colors characteristic of the painter's work, before creating monumental wall bas-reliefs.
