"Spring" table lamp designed by Ingo Maurer (1932-2019), chromed tubular steel base, flattened opaline glass globe diffusing white light. Old edition from the 70s, in perfect working order (bulb supplied).

INGO MAURER (1932-2019)
German designer and entrepreneur specializing in contemporary lighting, Ingo Maurer studied graphic arts in Munich. He left to work for a few years in New York and California, before founding his Design M workshop in Munich in 1963 and devoting himself to the design of light sets. He creates ephemeral installations and participates in many light installations in Paris, New York, Milan, Amsterdam. His creations are part of the design collections of major museums (MOMA, SFMOMA).
