BRICE Roland (1911-1989)
Sculptor-ceramist, former pupil of Fernand Léger, he became his official ceramist from 1949. In his workshop in Biot, he works on his own creations where we find the imprint of the painter - primary colors, black line, characters with rounded curves... Brice is also attached to free forms and combines the useful and the beautiful through its vases, dishes and plates. He was a fervent supporter of art in the city and of polychromy, a vital dimension for human beings.
