About...

Marius Sabino ( 1878-1961 )

Born in Sicily, Marius Sabino studies at the National School of the Decorative arts of Paris then at the Fine arts School. Being inspired by Lalique, he uses the technique of the molded pressing glass and search in its numerous sculptures the relief by lighting effects. Golden medal at the Decorative arts of Paris in 1925, Sabino realizes lustrums, ceiling lights, engraved glass panels, which decorate in particular the liner "Normandy", and many objects and statuettes.
