About...

ADNET Jacques (1900-1984)

Architect and decorator, trained at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts, he works with Jean, his twin brother, under a joint signature. The style of its furniture is influenced by cubism and functionalism. Their shapes are geometric and of great elegance. Over time, he will use metal and glass, especially for his bedside tables in tube. In 1959, he was appointed director of the Ecole Nationale des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
