Table lamp signed by the ceramist Jacques Blin, round shaped in faience enamelled greyhish green, decor by incision of stylized animals in black enamel. The shade is new and ivory colored. It is in perfect working order. 50s/60s.

Jacques Blin ( 1920-1995 ).

After studies of aeronautical engineer, Jacques Blin worked in this branch during several years as draftsman. Attracted by the decorative arts, he approached the ceramic, then he devoted himself to it completely from 1948-1949. He undertook the structures of the profession during more than twenty years, as president of the Union of Ceramists and Studios of France and as vice-president of the International Academy of the Ceramic in Geneva.
