Claude Monod ( 1944-1996 )
He begins to the glass factory of Biot (Alpes-Maritimes) established by his father Eloi Monod in 1956, when he learns very young to blow the glass. He manages the family glass factory from 1969 till 1976 then establishes his own workshop. He concentrates on processes of coloring and applcation of enamels and oxides. His works are characterized by the purity of forms and and the refinement of colors, inspired by Japanase art
