About...

PRIMAVERA: Art studio of the Parisian department store "Le Printemps"
To develop the modern decorative arts and promote their distribution, René Guilleré, founder of the Society of artists decorators, convinces from 1912 the department store "Le Printemps" to  make produce furniture and works of art by home-made studios. Supervised by artists as Charlotte Chauchet, the wife of Guilleré, their production is called "Primavera", name that, by its Latin etymology, reminds the department's store brand "Le Printemps".
