Edouard Cazaux  (1889 - 1974)
Born of potters' family settled on the south coast of Landes and in Basque country, Edouard Cazaux distinguishes himself by a double training of sculptor and ceramist. He is especially known as ceramist. In the 30s, he will manage even, in association with Degué, a crystal glass-making in Compiègne where he will experiment various techniques. He finds his inspiration in the Korean and Persian ceramics but also the biblical and mythological scenes.
