Jean Lurçat (1892-1966)
The master of contemporary tapestry, turned to ceramics in the early 50s. He regularly stays at the pottery workshop Sant Vicens (Perpignan) , where he decorates dishes, vases, pitchers and others everyday objects. His work as a ceramist is also marked by monumental creations, such as that which decorates the radio buiding in Strasbourg.
