About...

Les Argonautes
Frédérique Bourguet (1925-1997) and Isabelle Ferlay (1917) set up a pottery studio they named " Les Argonautes " in Vallauris in 1953. Using the Vallauris red-clay, they produce household objects and tableware such as pitchers, tureens, large vases and zoomorphic sculptures often inspired by exotic birds.
